On April 20th, 2017, LIBER will host the closing workshop of the OpenAIRE FP7 Post Grant Open Access Pilot.
During the workshop, the organisers will present the preliminary results of the different activities undertaken during the two year pilot: a comprehensive overview of all statistical data resulting from the project, an overview of best practices in relation to publisher, funder and institutional involvement in APC based funding mechanisms and the results of the alternative funding mechanism workline.
The afternoon will be reserved for the presentation of the report ‘Towards a competitive and sustainable Open Access Market in Europe’, followed by a break-out session intended to gather input for a Roadmap that will accompany the report (to be released publicly after the ending of the pilot).
Registration is free but necessary, as places are limited.
Participants will receive the final progamme and the necessary documentation such as statistical information and the report in the weeks before the workshop.
