Two of LIBER’s European projects to be presented at the 2011 APA conference at the BMA in London on the 8th and 9th of November.
The programme for the 2011 Alliance for Permanent Access has been announced.
The focus of the 2011 conference is “Putting the infrastructure in place for digital preservation”.
Two of LIBER’s EU projects will be presented at the conference.
Dr. David Giaretta of STFC will present an overview of the APARSEN project and introduce the ISO Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories. Dr. Salvatore Mele of CERN will introduce the ODE project whilst Eefke Smidt from STM will outline the contents of the ODE report on Integrating Data & Publications.
Commissioner Neelie Kroes will be the keynote speaker, and the conference brings together leaders in the field of digital preservation from around the world.
An essential event for those interested in the preservation of digitally encoded information, the conference takes place from the 8th to the 9th of November at the BMA in London.
