LIBER has won its first tender contract for a “Study on AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting) platforms and services for scientific data/information resources in Europe”.
In December 2011 the Consortium composed of TERENA, LIBER, UvA, and DEENK, was awarded a contract by the European Commission to carry out a study into AAA (authentication, authorisation and accounting) platforms and services for scientific data/information resources.
This study will explore the facilitation of a more collaborative research infrastructure through the set up a unified authentication and authorisation system for research information. It will run from Dec 2011 until August 2012.
