“Dealing with data- what’s the role for the library?” The workshop will explore where the library sits in relation to supporting research data management, and what future expectations for libraries might be.
This free workshop will take place in Ghent (Belgium) on 28 May and will explore the role of different stakeholders in issues such as data lifecycle, data citation, metadata and data publications. Several scientists will discuss with the audience how they relate to research data. A panel session, with the contribution of some members of the LIBER Steering Committee ‘Scholarly Communication and Research Infrastructures’ will discuss the role of librarians in data management.
