In recent months, LIBER has been leading the process to draft The Hague Declaration on Knowledge Discovery in the Digital Age.
The final Declaration is now ready to be launched and will be officially unveiled at the offices of Science Europe on 6 May 2015.
Paul Ayris of University College London will introduce the Declaration and a panel of invited experts will help to contextualise it, exploring its potential influence and discussing the importance of its statements on knowledge discovery for the fields of scholarly research, publishing, data curation, and for SMEs that use text and data mining in their work.
Following the launch, the Declaration will be openly accessible to all. Signatures are welcome from individuals and organisations who wish to support its principles.
For more information, please see the Declaration’s official website. If you are interested in becoming one of the founding signatories of this important document, please get in touch with us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
