Dear LIBER Participants,
As you may have heard LIBER will be running a satisfaction survey later this year to find out from its participants what we do well, and where we can develop to continue to meet your needs in a challenging and demanding environment.
In order to have the chance to put your thoughts forward and have a hand in shaping LIBER activities, you of course need to have the possibility to participate in this important survey.
If you have not already done so, we are urging you to check your membership details in the participant database on the website and inform us of any changes that need to be made. Doing this is very straightforward – just send a short email with the new information (for example new library Directors and/or updated contact details) to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will take care of the rest.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Suzanne joined the LIBER Office in May this year. Originally from the United Kingdom, Suzanne has been based in The Netherlands for over 10 years now. During this time she has gained a wealth of administrative experience, having provided operational, financial and administrative support to several international organizations, the most recent of which was the International Criminal Court in The Hague. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Public Management, and speaks both English and Dutch.
When asked about her new role as Office Manager at LIBER, she said
‘Joining LIBER is exciting because my experiences of working with smaller and mid-sized organizations is that you really have the chance to make a difference and you have to have a hand in as many tasks as possible – this keeps things challenging and interesting! I love the international atmosphere LIBER offers, and was really happy to experience the LIBER community very early at the 2015 Annual Conference – I gained a real sense of who our ‘customers’ are and enjoyed the diverse and international nature of the event.’
