Lotte Wilms

Digital Scholarship Advisor, National Library of the Netherlands

Lotte Wilms is the co-chair of LIBER’s Digital Humanities Working Group. In her main role at the National Library of the Netherlands (KB), she is the KB’s Digital Scholarship advisor and manages the KB Research Lab.

Lotte is an advocate for Digital Humanities in libraries and is always open for new initiatives. She holds a BA degree in English Language and Culture and an MA degree in Medieval Studies from Utrecht University.

Since working for the KB from 2008 onwards, Lotte has held a number of positions, mostly related to digitisation and the reuse of digitised material. She has worked for IMPACT, Europeana Newspapers and on projects that digitised parliamentary papers and old printed books.

Her personal interests lie in community building and organisational issues around libraries and DH.
