Neha Moopen

Research Data Manager, Utrecht University Library

Neha Moopen is a Research Data Manager at Utrecht University Library. In her role, she supports researchers with data management in line with open science and FAIR principles.

Additionally, she helps develop and deliver the programming courses offered at the library. Her background is in clinical psychology. Before joining the library in 2020, she worked as a university teacher and junior researcher.

Neha is enthusiastic about open science and open-source projects/communities. She has contributed to The Turing Way, The Carpentries, Liberate Science, and the Open Scholarship Knowledge Base. In 2020, she participated in the second cohort of the Open Life Science program, which developed through Mozilla Open Leaders X (MOLx).

Neha is curious about the development of research libraries, and the potential of data-related services and processes therein. Participating in the LIBER working group and network is an exciting opportunity for her to both learn and contribute to this field.
