Roos Knigge is LIBER’s Operations Coordinator. She makes sure that the LIBER Working Groups, Steering Committees, Executive Board, and LIBER Office operate as smoothly as possible.

Before she joined LIBER, Roos held various positions at Leiden University and the Dutch research institute KITLV. With a background in History of Art, she developed an interest in the digitisation of cultural heritage during her time as a student of Leiden University’s Master’s programme Book and Digital Media Studies.

Roos is especially fascinated by the challenges and opportunities arising from globalisation, the question of national identity in an international context, and the vital role research libraries play in the process of the digitisation of cultural heritage. She is therefore very happy to be working at LIBER where many of her professional interests come together.
