LIBER Launches a Webinar Series on Artificial Intelligence: AI Pulse

Posted: 29-01-2026 Topics: Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence Taskforce, in collaboration with LIBER Working Groups, is launching a new webinar series dedicated to Artificial Intelligence: LIBER AI Pulse

Taking place on the last Friday of each month, the series provides 30-minute updates on current AI topics relevant to research libraries. These bite-sized webinars showcase ongoing work within LIBER and give voice to various perspectives on the topic.

The series kicks off in February with an introductory session hosted by the LIBER AI Taskforce, presenting their mandate, current activities, and key perspectives on AI development. The work of the Taskforce builds on the long-standing role of research libraries in ensuring responsible and transparent approaches to AI within research and higher education.

In subsequent sessions, one or more LIBER Working Groups will select the topic and host the webinar, ensuring a broad and practice-oriented coverage of AI-related issues across the LIBER community. Registration for each session is now open, with agendas shared closer to the event dates.
