We’re excited to announce that the 22nd LIBER Architecture Seminar will take place from 6-8 May 2026 at the Technological University Dublin in Dublin, Ireland, and the abstract submissions are now open!

The LIBER Architecture Group (LAG) brings together librarians involved in building projects, focusing on concepts and planning processes. Every two years, LAG organises a conference to exchange knowledge and experience between librarians and architects across Europe, aiming to raise awareness of emerging projects and trends. Each year, the seminar attracts more than 150 participants from all over Europe.

This year, the seminar will follow the theme: Invest – Involve – Inspire: Shaping the next generation of Library Buildings,” bringing together library professionals, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders in the field of library architecture and design to share knowledge and explore both the challenges and opportunities involved in shaping the future of libraries.

For LAG 2026, we invite submissions for both standard presentations (max. 2 presenters, 20 minutes) and fast-paced Lightning Talks (max. 1 presenter, 10 minutes).
