Posted: 07-02-2023 Topics: Open Textbooks

Over the next two years, the LIBER Educational Resources Working Group will focus on promoting and advancing in the area of open textbooks. This is a call for new members.

  • Enhancing discoverability of open textbooks and collection curation,
  • Peer review and evaluation of open textbooks outside of publishing houses,
  • Measuring and assessing impact of open textbooks.

Are you passionate about educational resources and open textbooks?  Do you want to help to progress the aims for 2023-24, hands on? Please find more information on the scope of the working group here and fill in our membership form. We hope to meet in March and will be in touch with you to confirm the date.

At this point we also want to take the opportunity to thank Hilde van Wijngaarden (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) for initiating and chairing the group in 2021 and 2022. Thank you for your great work, Hilde.

For the next two years, the Working Group will be chaired collaboratively by Nicole Krüger (ZHAW University Library), Helen Moore (University of Sheffield, UK), and Tamara Pianos (ZBW).
