LIBER is thrilled to announce that the Winter Event 2026 will take place from the 26th-27th November at the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatia.
Meet Our Host
Rooted in more than four centuries of history, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) stands today as a leading cultural and research institution in the Croatian national library landscape. It operates as both the national library of the Republic of Croatia and the main library of the University of Zagreb, supporting its 29 faculties and special departments. As a national library, NSK collects, protects, preserves, catalogues, makes available, and promotes Croatia’s cultural and scientific heritage. The library is located in Croatia’s capital city Zagreb, nestled between the slopes of Sljeme – at the foot of Zagreb’s mountain Medvednica – and the banks of the Sava river.
About the Winter Event
Since 2022, the LIBER Winter Event has brought together the core LIBER network – librarians and information professionals from our Working Groups, Taskforces, Steering Committees, projects, and collaborations. The one-and-a-half-day event takes place in person, at a LIBER Library host venue.
It is designed with and for the core LIBER community. Do you want feedback on a new initiative? Advice on a project? Or are you looking to seek inspiration for the future? Through workshops and interactive sessions, the Winter Event gives our members the space to set their own agenda and take part in stimulating dialogue on topics most important to their work.
