Webinar: From Vision to Implementation: Libraries and Research Managers Driving Open Research Information
From Vision to Implementation: Libraries and Research Managers Driving Open Research Information
A joint EARMA–LIBER webinar
In April 2024, the Barcelona Declaration set a bold vision: to make research information openly available through open scholarly infrastructures. Since its release, momentum has grown rapidly, with over 130 institutions from 31 countries committing to this transformative agenda.
One year on, the LIBER Open Access Group and the EARMA Open Science Group are joining forces for their first joint webinar to explore how these commitments are being turned into reality. This session will spotlight best practices from European research institutions that are embedding Open Research Information into their local contexts. Beyond showcasing technical and policy innovations, we will highlight the collaborative role of libraries and research managers; two communities working hand-in-hand to ensure that the principles of the Barcelona Declaration are not just aspirational, but actionable.
Join us to learn how openness is reshaping research ecosystems and discover practical strategies for driving change within your own institution
