Alyx Taounza-Jeminet

Chargée de projet Transcrire, service Accompagnement de projets et science ouverte, Humathèque Condorcet, Aubervilliers

After studying Art History at the École du Louvre, and getting a Masters in Digital Technology Applied to History at the École Nationale des Chartes, Alyx Taounza-Jeminet started working at the Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de la Sorbonne in 2019. There, she was part of several digital projects funded by the GIS CollEx-Persée.

Since 2022, she has been part of the service Accompagnement de projets et science ouverte (Project Support and Open Science Service) at the Humathèque Campus Condorcet’s research library and archival center where she is project manager on the “Transcrire” website, a participatory platform dedicated to the manual transcription of French archives.

As such, Alyx is newly implicated in Community and Citizen Science but hopes to accompany its development on campus and in France in Social Sciences and Humanities, as it encompasses fundamental values for the future of research and cultural institutions.
