Dr Ana Petrus

Managing director and senior consultant, scivia LLC & Adjunct lecturer, University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons

Ana Petrus is the founder of scivia LLC, a consultancy specialising in research data management and digital sustainability. She is also adjunct lecturer of Data Management at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons. Her work focuses on research data management in STEM and interdisciplinary fields, as well as FAIR principles, open science and digital sustainability.

Ana Petrus holds a PhD and teaching certificate from ETH Zurich, as well as project management certifications from IPMA and the University of Oxford. In addition to her involvement with LIBER, she is a member of the scientific advisory committee of the data management portal olos.swiss.

In her consultancy role, Dr. Petrus works with academic institutions, research teams, and public authorities to address critical challenges in research data management. As a lecturer, she supervises theses and teaches at both the BSc and MSc levels in several degree programmes, including Information Sciences. Dr. Petrus also shares her knowledge through guest lectures and bespoke training workshops on the aforementioned topics.

Ana Petrus contributes to the Research Data Management Working Group as an Expert Advisor.
