Dragana Janković

Dragana Janković, is a librarian, born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1977. She graduated from the Belgrade Business School in 2006 and obtained the title of IT engineer. In 2017 she obtained a higher education specialist professional manager (professional master) in the field of management and business.

Since 1999, Dragana has been employed at the “Svetozar Marković” University Library in Belgrade. She works in the Department for development and maintenance of the library system, digitalization of funds and cultural activities. Dragana has participated in and made key contributions to more than ten cultural heritage digitization projects of national importance, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. She has also been involved in the development of the region’s largest searchable digital library, pretraziva.rs.

With her institution, Dragana is currently a project member of the CeOS_SE project (coordinated by LIBER), which aims to mainstream citizen-engaged Open Science in Southeastern Europe.
