LIBER President Joins DORA Board

LIBER’s President, Kristiina Hormia-Poutanen, has joined the advisory board of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

DORA was created as a way of addressing the need to improve ways in which the output of scientific research is evaluated by funding agencies, academic institutions, and other parties.

Its advisory board oversees the strategy of DORA and its day-to-day activities, encourages its adoption by more organisations and individuals, and fosters best practice in research assessment.

LIBER has already signed the DORA declaration and will be recommending it to all LIBER libraries in our upcoming Open Science Roadmap.
