This update relates to LIBER’s work over the past three months. It is sent directly to LIBER Libraries and posted publicly on our website. Documents can be downloaded and freely shared via the links.

Proposal for LIBER Fees & Services (for discussion)

As discussed at the 2018 Meeting of Participants, the Executive Board has been developing a plan for LIBER’s future path. The results of our work, including suggested new services and details on proposed annual fees from 2020, are now available for all Participants to read and comment on.

Proposal: Ensuring LIBER’s Viability & Building On Success

Note: An updated version of the Proposal, changed to reflect the feedback of Participants, was released in May 2019. It is available here.

We welcome your questions and suggestions. This Proposal will be voted on at the 2019 Meeting of Participants in Dublin (see the first page of the Proposal for ways to reach us). We particularly want to draw your attention to three upcoming online Open Meetings, during which you can discuss the Proposal directly with Board members. The meetings will be held on:

  • 2 April, 1100 CET
  • 15 April, 1100 CET
  • 23 April, 1300 CET
