Winter Event 2026: “LIBER in Action: Connecting and Advocating for Research Libraries”

The next LIBER Winter Event will take place under the theme LIBER in Action: Connecting and Advocating for Research Libraries from 26-27 November 2026 at the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatia.

The Winter Event is designed as a space to connect librarians and information professionals from LIBER member institutions to discuss current matters in the research library and open science landscape. Taking place one year before the conclusion of the current LIBER strategy cycle, the theme of the 2026 edition is anchored in LIBER’s strategic priorities. Through an interactive format, participants are invited to discuss concrete examples and practices driven by the Strategy 2023-2027.

The Call for Contributions will be sent to LIBER Working Groups and partners in the summer of 2026.
