Digital Scholarship and Digital Cultural Heritage Collections Working Group – Townhall Meeting
The Working Group for Digital Scholarship and Digital Cultural Heritage Collections is organising a public Townhall meeting for employees at LIBER member libraries.
During this first Townhall meeting, we will introduce the four focus points of the working group:
- Responsible use of digital collections;
- Digital Competencies/Prov(id)ing expertise;
- Building relationships (between libraries and DH scholarship)and;
- Digital Impact.
You are invited to meet the chairs of the above four strands, suggest topics that the working group should address, ask questions about issues related to each of the four strands, and, above all, meet colleagues from other LIBER member libraries working on similar challenges.
The aim of the Townhall is to allow you to engage with the topics covered by the Working Group, to shape the conversation, and get to know colleagues at LIBER member libraries — with an added opportunity to broaden your network.
Moreover, during the meeting, we will discuss the upcoming LIBER 2021 Winter Event(Winter Event 2021 – Programme Now Live – LIBER Europe), where the Working Group will organise a follow-up session to this initial Townhall meeting on the 15th of November.
We look forward to seeing you at the Townhall meeting on the 15th of November!
