What do we mean when we talk about AI literacy? How important is it that national and research libraries take a critical, values-led approach to work on AI literacy? 

This seminar from LIBER’s Digital Scholarship and Digital Cultural Heritage Collections (DSDCH) Working Group will discuss why AI literacy is important, how it relates to library values and its role in helping readers and library staff make informed choices. We’ll also open a call for participants to share their favourite resources on the topic, and how they’ve helped diverse audiences understand  the strengths and weaknesses of different ‘AI’ technologies. Resources shared might also contribute to a future Digital Scholarship / Data Science Topic Guide on the subject.
