LIBER CeOS_SE Multiplier Event

As a conclusion to the CeOS project, LIBER is organising an in-person multiplier event in the premises of the Dutch Royal Library, in The Hague.

During this event, CeOS_SE project partners, along with Open Science and Citizen Science experts, will explore the role of libraries as hubs for knowledge and innovation, and the role of librarians as intermediaries and trainers. The outcomes of the CeOS_SE project will support the discussions.

The first session will consist of presentations followed by a panel exchange, aimed at understanding how to develop incentives for updating higher education curricula for academic staff, library staff, and researchers. In the second session, participants will explore how Citizen Science networks can support libraries, and how libraries, in turn, can contribute to these networks. The final discussion will focus on the skills, policies, practices, and infrastructure identified throughout CeOS_SE and their potential scalability for other Citizen Science projects.

The target audience includes HEI (Higher Education Institution) management, academic and library staff, policymakers, European and international networks, as well as representatives from relevant Open Science-related European initiatives.
