Making Research Assessment a Reality: Showcasing Concrete Open Science Advancements in Latin America and Europe
LA Referencia and LIBER are hosting a joint webinar on May 13th 2024 (16:00 CEST) aimed at providing a panel of concrete case studies, inspiring examples and useful contacts for building a framework fostering Open Science practices when evaluating research.
About the event
The webinar is for participants interested in discovering cases and putting into practice a research evaluation model at their institution or research unit. The event will showcase examples from Latin America and Europe that take Open Science practices into account.
The main goal is to offer an overview of concrete advancements in Open Science, in the reform of research evaluation in Latin America and Europe, through insights from representatives of regional and global initiatives actively engaged in this effort.
Our aim is to provide firsthand knowledge from leaders driving change in this area. From the implementation of Open Science principles to the development of multidimensional assessment metrics, we will explore a range of approaches that are reshaping how research is evaluated.
