Andrea is head of the working group on open access and research data and manager of the current research information system of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Besides open access to scientific publications and research data management, his main activities concern bibliometrics and research assessment, both in STEMS and in SSH. He is also experienced in technology transfer and research project management related issues, as he worked in the university research division for several years before entering the university library system.
