Anxhela Dani is LIBER’s Events & Partnerships Coordinator. She leads the organising of LIBER’s Annual Conference, the Winter event, and other online and in-person events.
She worked as a Librarian at the National Library of Greece, under a program of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), and as a Data Librarian at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland), where her main tasks were related to Research Data management and Open Science. During her studies, she worked on academic library projects regarding the digitization of materials and their metadata issues. Since 2013, she has been part of the organizing committee of the International Conference on Metadata and Semantics Research (MTSR). Her interests, apart from society and culture-oriented, are also focused on Research Data Management, Digital Preservation, and Open Science practices. She publishes in the fields of Digital Libraries, Open Repositories, Big Data, and Information Retrieval.
