Athanasia Salamoura holds a bachelor’s degree in Archives, Library Science, and Museology, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Management in Libraries, Archives, and Museums.

She works in the Scholarly Communication Unit of HEAL-Link, located at the Library and Information Center of the University of Patras, where she is responsible for monitoring the Open Access part of HEAL-Link’s agreements with several publishers.

As part of her job, she has engaged in Data Management, Data Cleanup, and Reporting, and has grown an interest in further exploring the use of data science methods in OA Monitoring and library science in general.
