Bernat Montaña is a Research Assistant at the i2CAT Foundation, where he focuses on open data and the FAIR principles as part of his research.
With an academic background of IT and Library science and practical experience in data analysis, cataloging, and digital resource management, he supports open data initiatives and enhances digital library practices to improve accessibility and transparency of research outputs. His work includes analysing institutional data for optimized open data practices and developing frameworks for effective data-sharing. He holds a degree in Information and Documentation Digital Management from the University of Barcelona and is dedicated to promoting FAIR-aligned data solutions in library and research settings.
