Cécile Swiatek

Cécile Swiatek is Library director at the University of Paris Nanterre, France. She is particularly involved with opening up knowledge, pedagogy, HE digital innovation, Skill issues.

Before 2021, Cécile Swiatek was Deputy Director at the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas academic library in Paris, France, and engaged in both professional and users training services. She was previously in charge of Law, Economics, Management and Journalism collections in Paris II. Before that, she was Collection manager in Medicine Science and Technology at the BUPMC – Université Paris6 academic library – and head of medical and computer science research sections.

In 2014 she joined the IFLA Lyon national committee. She is an active member of various French libraries associations and is a Governing Board member and Secretary-General of the French National university and research libraries (ADBU).

Cécile Swiatek has been deeply involved since 2010 in LIBER where she currently represents the French Academic Libraries Association (ADBU).
