Christiane Sibille

Christiane Sibille is the Head of Digital Scholarship Services at the ETH Zurich Library.

She studied history and musicology in Heidelberg and now works at the (digital) intersections between research, archives, and libraries. Her professional career has included positions at the Universities of Heidelberg and Basel, the Zurich University of the Arts, the Diplomatic Documents of Switzerland (Dodis), and the Metagrid.ch project. Since June 2021, she has been responsible for the Digital Scholarship Services in the Collections and Archives unit of the ETH Library. 

She is co-chair of the «Swiss Library Network for Education and Research» working group on AI, member of the DARIAH-CH GLAM Working Group, and president of the Swiss Association «History and Computing». Additionally, she regularly teaches at the University of Basel. 

Christiane is a member of the LIBER Digital Scholarship and Digital Cultural Heritage Collections (DSDCH) Working Group.
