Cyril Heude

Data Librarian, Sciences Po

Cyril joined the Resources and Scientific Information Direction at Sciences Po in 2020, as a Data Librarian. His main activities consist of:

  • Data Management Plan advising and writing
  • Administrating the institutional repository, data.sciencespo
  • Training colleagues and students
  • Writing online guides in French or English
  • Conducting monthly workshops with embedded librarians in laboratories.

He is a member of the French research data working group of the GTSO Couperin.

He previously held positions as Open Science and Research Support Librarian at the University of Paris: administration of an open archive and a bibliometric app, doctoral trainings about research data, dissemination strategies, digital identity… He also was appointed Deputy Head of the Science Library and Mathematics, Life and Computer Sciences Librarian (Paris Descartes University; University of Evry). He has a background in French literature, political science, and librarianship.

Cyril’s professional interests focus on active and playful teaching through escape games, murder parties, board games and storytelling.
