Since 2011, Edeltraud has been director of the University Library of St.Gallen, Switzerland. Before that, she was director of the University Library Klagenfurt.

She is a member of several interest groups in Switzerland (IDS; KUB; KDH, BIS), Austria (VÖB) and also on an European level (EBSLG).

LIBER is the place for networking and exchanging ideas to stay up to date with the latest developments in librarianship. Furthermore, since the University of St.Gallen is planning to add a new Learning Center the Architecture group of LIBER provides information and inspiration, keeps me in touch with the latest trends as well as with best practices from other institutions.
