Elina is working as a head of services at the Helsinki University Library’s Unit of Access Services. She’s leading a team of subject librarians that ensures the library’s collection is supporting the strategic priorities of the Helsinki University.

Elina’s team is cooperating with teachers in the selection of materials to be included in the curricula of the various degree programs. The team is working with encouraging teacher to use Open Educational Resource (OER) as well as improving the findability of these materials. Library is providing a publishing platform for Open Access (OA) textbooks written by Helsinki University teachers. In this context, one of the main goal is to promote the Open Science services provided by library.
