Elisa Rodenburg

Research Data Steward and the coordinator of the RDM Support Desk at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Elisa Rodenburg is a Research Data Steward and the coordinator of the RDM Support Desk at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Having a background in history, she worked in the reading room of the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam and as a librarian for a symphony orchestra before joining VU Amsterdam as a Research Data Management officer.

Elisa was one of the team members who built the Data Horror Escape Room in 2020 and presented at the LIBER Conference in 2021. She was an award winner at iPres 2022 and one of the organisers of the LIBER Winter Event in Amsterdam, also in 2022.

Elisa is passionate about improving support for RDM and streamlining support across all departments of the VU. She is also keen to learn from and contribute to international expertise and development around RDM and Open Science practices, skills and support. She is therefore very happy to have joined the LIBER working group for Research Data Management, where she will be able to learn from her European colleagues
