Ellen joined Wageningen UR Library in 2014 to specialize in bibliometrics and research data management. She is part of the Research Support team and is responsible for all bibliometric studies performed by the library. In 2015 she led the project in which 80 chair groups were evaluated on their bibliometrics and is a key user of SciVal.

She holds a PhD in Soil Chemistry from Wageningen University. After that she worked during seven years for a Dutch engineering firm in the field of soil pollution and data analysis.

LIBER provides an interesting community to share experiences within the field of Research Libraries. The Metrics Working Group is of special interest for me because it a platform where I can meet colleagues in the field, stay informed and share experience.
