Hannes is Metadata Manager at the Royal Library of Belgium, and a member of LIBER’s Linked Open Data Working Group.

He is currently responsible for the implementation of a new Library Management System, which will help the library to improve its metadata. In addition to his work with metadata, Hannes has a Phd in medieval history.

In the process of improving our metadata, we are interested in making them open, linked, and usable. I am very much interested in the guidelines and good practices in order to standardize the way to make Linked Open Data.
