Ivana Matijević is a senior librarian at the National and University Library in Zagreb. Her ocuses  on scientific communication, bibliometric and other scientific analyses and education of the Croatian academic and scientific community. She is chair of the National Advisory Committee for Licensing and Procurement of Electronic Resources. In addition, she is part of the Croatian National Repositories Infrastructure (DABAR) and co-manages two national repositories – the Croatian Digital Theses Repository and the Croatian Digital Dissertations Repository. She is a collaborator on several national and regional professional associations, committees and projects related to electronic resources, open science and new technology.

Ivana obtained a BA and MA degree in Information Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
