Leonidas Papachristopoulos holds a BA in Librarianship, a MSc in Library Management and a PhD in Information Science from the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology, Ionian University, Greece.

Currently he works in the Hellenic Open University Distance Library and Information Center (Patras, Greece), planning information literacy training programs. He is also part of LIBER’S Innovative Metrics Working Group.

Previously he was involved in many national and international projects. Among his research interests are Digital Library Evaluation, Digital preservation and Curation, Topic Modeling, Social Network Analysis and Machine Learning.
