Nathalie Marcerou-Ramel has held different positions in university libraries, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Public library of Saint-Etienne as Deputy Director, Couperin consortium, Ministry for Higher Education and Research, Research library as Director.

She is currently Director of studies and internships at Enssib, the French national LIS School.
