Sabine Kunst has been working as Head of Open Spaces at the TU Delft Library since June 2017. She is responsible for the services offered in the public spaces of the library. Visitors are facilitated and motivated in achieving their academic ambitions in an inspiring learning environment.

Sabine is the project leader of an exploration of Citizen Science as a possible part of the TU Delft Strategic Plan Open Science. This study is in the final phase; the report plus advice will be discussed with the Executive Board in early 2021. In her role as Head of Open Spaces, she likes to contribute to connecting services aimed at researchers and lecturers and services aimed more at the wider public, both within and outside the university.

Sabine has a background as a researcher in educational innovation and in the management of educational and student support facilities in various educational institutions.
