Samrit Mainali is a project officer for research data in physical and engineering sciences at Université Paris-Saclay since Jan 2023. Prior to that, he was a PhD student in the same university. Listed below are his main activities:

– Accompanying the researchers on every step involving the opening and sharing of their data and source code/software

– Digital curation of the data and administration of the collection for Université Paris-Saclay’s institutional space in the French national repository (Recherche Data Gouv)

– Training next generation of researchers for open-science mindsets (whenever applicable) via several training opportunities

– Production of guides and documents (French or English) in compliance with the policy of several funding institutions
