Sofie Wennström works at Stockholm University Library with publishing and open access. She teaches about publishing strategies and information literacy, and was part of the team launching Stockholm University Press in 2014–2015.

In 2019, she became chair of LIBER’s Open Access Working Group.

Sofie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia & Education from Stockholm University and is working on a master’s degree.

Collaboration is needed if we want to open up access to information kept in academic libraries for the benefit to more people around the world. This working group provides a network for us to share information, ideas and strategies.
