After being educated in Physical Chemistry I worked for several software companies as a technical support engineer In 2001 I made the transition to the digital library profession. I worked at Library TU Delft as information specialist Physics and as project leader of numerous innovative projects (among which the creation of 3TU.Datacentrum) for 8 years. In 2008 I started working as Head of Research and Education Support at the Library of the Radboud University.

I have also been the Head of the ‘Library Systems and Development’ (2009-2011) department and the department Content and Metadata Management (2016-present) which provides me with all-round experience in library management.
