Vasilije Milnović is a Head of the Scientific Center of the University Library Belgrade. He is responsible for writing and implementing projects in the field of librarianship, digital humanities, and science and culture in general, and he has gained a lot of experience in this so far. He obtained a PhD in Literature Studies and is a recognized researcher in that field. In parallel, he publishes works in the field of Librarianship in domestic and international journals, and some of these works are indexed in the SCI list.

In his career, he participated in or led projects from the Horizon, Erasmus +, Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation programs, as well as several dozen projects approved by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Science of Serbia. He is the Serbian representative in the European Open Science Cloud Steering Board (EOSC SB) and a member of the Management Board of the Institute for Literature and Art of the Serbian Academy of Sciences, in charge of Digital Humanities.

Vasilije is particularly interested in the possibilities of Digital Humanities in research practice and with his projects he tries to train and interest as many researchers and librarians as possible in this activity.
