After studying political science, he began his career in libraries in 1999. Apart from a few years at the BPI (Centre Pompidou), it was carried out entirely within universities (Reunion, Strasbourg and Lille). He was involved in the construction or renovation projects of several sites (Studium in Strasbourg, medecine library in Lille in 2016 and literature and social sciences library in Nantes in 2023).

He is director of the Nantes University libraries since September 2020.

Interested in the recruitment and training of library managers, he has worked on the construction of libraries and improvment of services and spaces and the implementation of open science and open education policies.
