Zhengdong Shi is an Open Science Expert at the Paris-Saclay University Library, France.

Zhengdong holds two master’s degrees: one in French and Comparative Literature from Université Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and another in Book and Publishing Industry from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.

His interest in the question of Open Science in European university alliances led him to become an Open Science Project Manager in Université Paris-Saclay, where he has worked since 2021. In this role, Zhengdong is in charge of Open Science issues in European funding projects (EOSC, EUGLOH) and French national funding (ANR) projects at the university.

In addition to his work on European and French projects, Zhengdong also trains PhD students in Open Science at the Université Paris-Saclay.
