Libraries across Europe are rolling out research support services, including for Research Data Management (RDM), and helping libraries to play a key role in this field is essential to one of LIBER’s core strategic objectives: Enabling Open Science.

To discuss current developments and initiatives in this field, our Scholarly Communications & Research Infrastructures Steering Committee organised a workshop on the topic at LIBER’s 2016 Annual Conference. A report of the workshop, which focused on transferring skills and knowledge through training, is now available.

LIBER’s community of library professionals will be discussing RDM once again at our 2017 Annual Conference in Patras, Greece. Does your institution have RDM insights to share? The Call for Papers is now open.
