SSHOC Project

Coming Soon: An Open Cloud for Social Sciences and Humanities

Posted: 20-09-2018 Topics: Strategy

LIBER is one of 19 partners starting work in January 2019 on SSHOC: a new project to create a European open cloud ecosystem for social sciences and humanities (SSH).

Funded under the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, SSHOC will make data, tools and training available and accessible for users of SSH data.

It will encourage secure environments for sharing and using sensitive and confidential data, will contribute to the Open Science agenda and the realisation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

Within SSHOC, LIBER will be heavily involved in the creation of strategies for community engagement and training activities such as workshops, webinars and a final conference.
