Posted: 25-09-2019

Together with five other partners, LIBER has started working on a new project on open and citizen science in higher education.

Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, the INOS project aims at modernizing Higher Education Institutions’ (HEIs) curricula through civic engagement in Open Science (OS) and Citizen Science (CS).

In this project, LIBER is leading the dissemination activities and a project output on engagement, awareness raising and fostering policy change. LIBER will be involved in the organization of various engagement activities including workshops, a multiplier event and a stakeholder consultation meeting and will coordinate the development of a Roadmap for Capacity Building on OS and CS for Research Libraries and a Vision and Policy Recommendations document leveraging on the expertise of our wide network of research libraries.

The Consortium partners of the project are Aalborg University, University of Bordeaux,
University of Oulu, Tallinn University, Web2Learn and LIBER Europe; a great composition of HEIs, research libraries and the private sector.
