LIBER is thrilled to announce that the 2024 Winter Event will take place from the 26th-27th November at the University of Maribor Library, Slovenia.
About our Hosts
The University of Maribor is Slovenia’s second-largest and second-oldest institution with 17 faculties, including the renowned University of Maribor Library. As the central hub of knowledge dissemination, the library curates, preserves, and provides access to a rich tapestry of human thought and creativity. The university library is situated in Maribor, a city set amid wine-growing hills on the banks of the Drava River.

About the Winter Event
The LIBER Winter Event is a one-and-a-half-day event that takes place every year, in person, at a LIBER Library host venue.
It is designed with and for the core LIBER network. Do you want feedback on a new initiative? Advice on a project? Or are you looking to seek inspiration for the future? Through workshops and interactive sessions, the Winter Event gives LIBER members the space to set their own agenda and discuss the topics most important to their work.
The event will be preceded by a national pre-event in collaboration with the Slovenian Library Association, scheduled to take place on November 25th, 2024.
